- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 5 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Mix flour and salt.

2Pour oil and water into 1 cup measuring cup (do not stir).

3Add all at once to flour mixture.

4Stir with fork until mixture comes away from sides of bowl.

5Form into 2 balls and roll between 2 (12-inch) squares of waxed paper.

6(Dampen the area to prevent paper slippage.)

7Crust is correct thickness when it reaches edge of paper.

8Peel off top sheet of waxed paper and fit dough, paper side up, into pie plate.

9Remove paper. Finish pie shell following single or double-crust pies.

10Makes pastry for 8 or 9-inch double crust pie.

11Single crust:

12Prick bottom and sides well with fork.

13Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
