Oklahoma Pork Chops

- 6 large pork chops
- 6 thick lemon slices
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 c. red wine
Directions

1Salt, pepper and brown chops on both sides.

2Turn heat down to 300°.

3Place a slice of lemon on each chop and pour sauce made of ketchup, brown sugar and wine over all.

4Cover and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours, basting frequently so brown sugar does not burn.

5You can also bake in oven at 350°, covered, for the same amount of time.

6Time is not critical as long as heat is low.

7Delicious and even the lemon slices taste good.

8This recipe will serve 6 people.
