- 3 c. cut okra
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 6 ears corn or 1 1/2 pt. cut
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. bread or cracker crumbs
Directions

1Wash the okra and drain well.

2Place in skillet with 2 tablespoons of margarine and let it cook slowly, stirring frequently, until the sticky substance has disappeared.

3Cut corn from cob. Put okra and corn in alternate layers in a greased casserole, sprinkling with salt and pepper as you go along.
