- 1 medium onion
- 1 bell pepper
- approximately 12 okra pods
- 2 medium tomatoes or 1 pt. canned
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
Directions

1Chop bacon and fry until crisp.

2Remove from drippings.

3Chop onion and pepper and cut okra into 1-inch pieces.

4Add to bacon drippings and stir-fry until onion is transparent.

5Add seasonings and tomatoes and cook about 5 minutes longer.
