  • 1 c. molasses
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • fresh apples or applesauce

    Mix all ingredients together, except for apples, like biscuit dough.
