  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

    Mix dry ingredients together; add alternately with milk

    Bake 1/2-inch layers in 9-inch round pan at 350° for 12 minutes.
