Old Fashioned Bread Pudding

  • 4 c. crumbled day old biscuits
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar (more if you want sweeter)
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla well. Add milk.

    Heat to bubbly. Pour over bread pieces that have been placed in a 3-quart casserole dish.

    Don't stir and let stand for 1 hour.

    Make sure all bread is soaked with mixture and all the mixture is soaked up. Bake at 400° for 45 minutes or until set.
