  • 1 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 8 c. unseasoned dry bread cubes
  • 1/4 c. water or broth
