- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Directions

1Cream margarine and shortening.

2Gradually add the sugar, beating until light and fluffy.

3Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Combine the flour and baking powder.

5Add this to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk and mixing well after each addition.

6Stir in the vanilla and lemon flavorings.

7Pour the batter into a greased 10-inch tube pan.

8Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done.
