- 1/3 c. uncooked rice (scant)
- 4 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in 6-cup buttered casserole.

2Place in slow oven (300°) about 3 hours until pudding is thick and creamy, not dry.

3Stir every 15 minutes for 2 hours, carefully turning under brown top and scraping edges down.

4Sprinkle with nutmeg (optional) when done.

5Serve hot or cold.
