- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 15 c. cubed stuffing bread
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 c. water, bouillon or milk
Directions

1Saute onions and celery in melted butter until lightly browned.

2Add bread cubes and remaining ingredients. Toss lightly until well blended.

3Use 1 cup of stuffing per pound of ready-to-cook turkey weight.

4An 8 to 12 pound turkey should be roasted approximately 4 to 4 1/2 hours in a 325° oven.

5This filling is also good baked in a baking dish and used as a side dish.
