- 1 c. dark brown sugar (packed)
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2/3 c. (1 small can) undiluted evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar and milk.

2Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat to 228° (soft ball stage). Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts.

3Beat until mixture begins to thicken and turn opaque, about 2 minutes.

4Drop quickly in patty shape from tablespoon onto buttered cookie sheet.

5Makes about 30.
