  • 1 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 3 to 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Add sugar, syrup, salt, nuts and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Bake in slow oven at 325° for 50 minutes.

    Pecans will float to the top and brown if baked slowly.
