  • 4 slices buttered toast, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 c. seedless raisins
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. canned milk
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Put quartered toast into a 1 1/2-quart greased baking dish. Sprinkle raisins over toast.

    Pour a mixture of the next 6 ingredients over toast.

    Let stand 10 minutes, then sprinkle with 4 teaspoons sugar and cinnamon.

    Bake in the oven at 350° for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
