- 3 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. lard
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Sift flour and cut lard into mixture.

2Add sugar and buttermilk; mix well with hands.

3Roll out and place apart on baking sheet that has been greased with margarine.

4Bake at 450° for about 18 minutes, or until brown on the bottom, then broil tops until golden brown.

5Brush margarine over the tops while hot.
