- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3 c. milk
Directions

1Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl.

2Pour in milk and mix briskly with a fork, just until dry ingredients are moistened.

3Drop dumplings by heaping teaspoonfuls into boiling kettle of liquid.

4Cover kettle snugly.

5Cook for 12 minutes exactly (no peeking).
