Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 36 stuffed olives, drained
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Cream butter or margarine and Cheddar cheese until blended. Add remaining ingredients, except olives, and mix well.

    Chill 15 to 20 minutes.

    Shape a small portion of dough around each olive. Bake at 400° about 15 minutes.

    If desired, these may be frozen on cookie sheet, put in plastic bags and stored in freezer until needed.

    Best served hot.
