- 12 slices bread, remove crust
- 3/4 c. boiled ham or chipped beef
- 1/2 lb. grated cheese
- butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 3 c. cornflakes
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Directions

1Place 6 buttered slices of bread with buttered side down in casserole dish.

2Top each slice with chopped ham and cheese.

3Top with remaining bread.

4Beat eggs with milk and dry mustard.

5Pour over all.

6Top with cornflakes mixed with melted butter. Refrigerate overnight or let stand 4 hours.

7Bake 45 minutes at 350° or until topping is crispy brown.

8(Topping may be added before baking, instead of being added before refrigerator.) Serves 6.
