- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide noodles
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Saute onion and pepper in oleo for 3 minutes.

2Add beef and brown.

3Add salt, pepper and sugar.

4Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and water.

5Bring to a boil.

6Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.

7In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan layer tomato, meat sauce and uncooked noodles.

8Make sure noodles are well

9covered with sauce. Top with cheese.

10Cover with aluminum foil.

11Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

12Let set for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting to serve.
