- 2 large onions (Vidalia), chopped coarsely
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/3 small can evaporated milk
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 frozen pie shells, thawed
Directions

1Fry onions in margarine until limp, but not brown.

2Let cool slightly.

3Add flour (just sprinkle over onions).

4Add both milks and salt.

5Cook until thick.

6Beat eggs in a bowl and add to mixture.

7Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.

8Top with another pie shell.

9Brush top of crust with milk.

10Bake at 425° for 30 to 40 minutes.

11Delicious.

12Serve with cabbage or pintos.
