- 2 large Bermuda onions, peeled and cut in 1/4-inch slices
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- Crisco shortening for deep frying
Directions

1Separate onion slices into rings.

2Put them in a shallow dish. Pour the milk over them.

3Soak for 30 minutes turning twice.

4Mix flour and salt in a plastic bag.

5Add onion rings a few at a time to coat well.

6Heat Crisco to 325° in deep saucepan.

7Fry onion rings for 2 or 3 minutes.

8Drain on paper towels.

9Sprinkle with salt.
