Ingredients
- 2 large onions, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. (1 c.) Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 (15 oz.) can creamed corn
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix (Jiffy mix)
- 4 drops hot red pepper sauce or to taste
Directions

1Saute onion in butter.

2Stir in sour cream, dill weed, salt and half the Cheddar cheese (1/2 cup).

3In a separate bowl combine corn, milk, dry muffin mix, egg and hot pepper sauce.

4Put corn mixture in a buttered 9 x 13-inch dish.

5Spread onion mixture over top.

6Top with remaining Cheddar cheese.

7Bake in a 425° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.

8Serves 8 to 10.
