- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 large (2 lb.) onions, thinly sliced
- 6 beef bouillon cubes
- 6 c. boiling water
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a large heavy saucepot, heat margarine and oil.

2Add sliced onions and saute over medium heat, stirring constantly, until tender and transparent.

3Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and gradually add to onions.

4Stir in Worcestershire sauce and salt.

5Bring mixture to a full boil and then simmer for 5 minutes.
