Ingredients
- 3 medium Spanish onions, sliced into rings (about 6 c.)
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 cans (15 oz. size) beef broth
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 6 slices French bread
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. grated cheese (Swiss, Mozzarella, etc.)
Directions

1Saute onions 20 minutes.

2Stir in flour.

3Add broth and water gradually.

4Simmer 20 minutes.

5Toast bread.

6Put bread in baking dish.

7Ladle in soup.

8Sprinkle with cheese.

9Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.
