  • 3 lb. cooking onions
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 cans consomme
  • 3 cans water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. white wine
  • granulated garlic powder
  • grated Mozzarella cheese

    Saute onions in butter and oil until golden and limp.
