- 3 large onions, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. Burgundy wine or beef broth, divided
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can beef broth
Directions

1In saucepan, saute onions and garlic in butter for 7 to 10 minutes until onions are tender, stir constantly.

2Add 1/4 cup wine, cook 5 minutes.

3Add remaining wine, chicken and beef broths. Bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes.
