  • 3 each jumbo spanish onions
  • 1 1/2 cup liquid butter
  • 1 1/4 cup montreal stk seasoning
  • 16 oz sam adams lager
  • 1 1/2 gallon liquid fryer oil
  • 1 lb sweet cream flour

    slice onions in half remove outer layers discard,slice half onions thin
  2. 2
    combine onions seasoning butter and beer in bowl mix well cover let stand in fridge 24 hours

    heat oil to 350F in skillet prefer iron but any will work,

    strain beer off onions discard coat onions lightly with flour if sticking together add flour until they loosen up ,add to hot oil a few handfuls at a time cook until light brown lay on paper towel to remove excess oil.
