Ingredients
- 4 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. Crisco
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 10 c. flour
- 4 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
Directions

1Mix yeast in water; set aside.

2Mix buttermilk, shortening and sugar.

3Add yeast.

4Add flour to make soft dough.

5Pour onto greased surface and knead 6 to 8 minutes.

6Put into large greased bowl; turn to grease both sides.

7Cover.

8Refrigerate overnight. Next morning, pinch out rolls into desired shape.

9Put in greased pan.

10Let raise 2 to 3 hours.

11Brush with butter.

12Bake at 420° until golden brown.

13Dough will keep in the refrigerator for 1 week.

14Good while hot with butter.
