  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. self-rising flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. plain gelatin, dissolved in 1/4 c. cold water
  • 3/4 c. frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 16 oz. whipped topping
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 large angel food cake

Directions

    Mix together milk, sugar, egg yolks, self-rising flour and salt in a heavy saucepan.

    Cook until thickened.

    Remove from heat.

    Add gelatin and orange juice concentrate.

    Beat 4 egg whites until stiff. Fold into 1/2 of the whipped topping.

    Then fold this into the cooled, cooked mixture.
