  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • vanilla
  • juice of 5 oranges (about 2 c.)
  • grated rind of 2 oranges to which 3/4 c. sugar has been added

    Add to beaten egg whites.

    Pour over cake.

    Chill overnight in refrigerator.

    Frost with whipped cream.

    Put one layer on plate; pour some of the orange juice over, then put other layer right on top of first and pour rest of juice over.

    There is no filling in the middle.
