  • 1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 box dates (sugar coated)
  • 1 lb. orange sliced candy, cut into pieces
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. coconut

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour alternately with buttermilk.

    Roll nuts, candy and dates in 1/2 cup flour.

    Add to cake with coconut.

    Bake in 300° oven for 2 hours in well-greased Bundt pan.
