  • 3 1/2 c. flour (save 1/2 c. flour to roll candy, coconut, dates and nuts in)
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda, mixed with milk
  • 1 can coconut
  • 1/2 lb. chopped dates
  • 2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 lb. orange slice candy, cut into small pieces

Directions

    Mix this with 1/2 cup flour, then add to the batter.

    Bake at 250° for 3 hours in tube cake pan.
