Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. each: ground ginger and cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 c. dark molasses
- 1/4 c. each: margarine and whipped butter, melted and cooled
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, orange peel, baking soda and spices; set aside.

3In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.

4Add to flour mixture; don't beat or overmix.

5Combine only until moistened.

6Spray 12 muffin cups with nonstick spray.

7Fill 3/4 full.

8Place muffin pan in center of oven and bake until toothpick comes out clean, 15 minutes.

9Invert muffins on wire rack and cool.
