- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

3Sift first 6 ingredients into mixing bowl.

4Stir in pecans and orange peel. Combine orange juice, egg and vegetable oil in large cup measure and beat until thoroughly blended.

5Add dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

6Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 60 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.

7Cool for 10 minutes. Remove and cool completely on wire rack.
