  • 2 c. pecans
  • 1 lb. bag orange slice candy
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates
  • 1 c. butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 2 c. flour

Directions

    Cut dates, nuts and candy in small pieces.
  2. 2
    Add coconut and melted butter and pour over mixture.
  3. 3
    Mix eggs, sugar, flour, soda and milk and pour over the other mixture.

    Mix well.

    Bake in tube pan at 300° for 2 hours.
