Orange Slice Cookie Bars

- 1 lb. pkg. orange slices, cut fine
- 1 c. pecans, chopped fine
- 2 c. flour
- 1 lb. box light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 large eggs, beaten with fork
Directions

1Prepare sheet cake pan with Crisco and sprinkle with flour. Cut up orange slices finely (dredge in part of flour).

2Dip out some of your measured flour into orange slices and cut and separate them with fingers.

3Add mixed together the brown sugar, flour and salt, then orange slices and flour.

4Next, add eggs one at a time.

5Stir well and spread with spatula and floured fingers in prepared pan.

6Bake 30 to 40 minutes (depends on oven) at 325°. They will be light brown on top and dry to fingertips also.

7Move to wire rack to cool.

8While still warm, cut small bars and take out and roll in powdered sugar.

9When completely cool, place in sealed container to keep.
