Orange Slush Punch

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 mashed bananas
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice, thawed and undiluted
  • 1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
  • 1 (67.6 oz.) bottle lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
  • 6 c. water
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice

Directions

    Combine sugar and water in Dutch oven; cook over high heat until sugar is dissolved.

    Let cool.

    Add bananas, lemon juice, orange juice and pineapple juice.

    Freeze until firm.

    Remove from freezer 2 hours before serving.

    Break frozen mixture into large pieces; put in punch bowl.

    Pour soda over and stir gently.

    Makes 6 1/2 quarts.
