Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate (undiluted)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine

Directions

    In a heavy saucepan, combine first four ingredients.

    Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  3. 3
    Bring to a rapid boil and cook until a candy thermometer reads 245° (firm ball stage).
  4. 4
    Add cream and butter, heat and stir until mixture reaches 245° again.
