  • 10 inches pie shells
  • 34 cup white flour
  • 12 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 12 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
  • 4 tablespoons chilled butter
  • 2 -3 tablespoons very cold orange juice

    In a medium bowl, combine flours.

    Add the walnuts and orange rind and mix well.

    Cut the butter into the flour until it is well blended.

    Add just enough orange juice to form a moist but not wet dough.

    Form dough into a ball and wrap in plastic, and chill 1 hour.

    Roll the dough out to fit a 10 inch pie plate.
