- 1 lb. Oreo cookies
- 1 stick oleo or butter
- 1/3 to 1/2 can Hershey's syrup
- 12 oz. Cool Whip
- 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
Directions

1Chop cookies in blender or in a plastic bag with a rolling pin.

2Reserve 3/4 cup chopped cookies for garnish. Melt butter and mix with remaining cookie crumbs.

3Pack in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread softened ice cream over cookies, drizzle fudge topping over the ice cream and spread Cool Whip over the fudge topping. Sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs over the Cool Whip.

4Freeze for at least one hour.

5Remove from freezer and thaw for a few minutes before serving.
