Ingredients

  • 5 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. fresh spinach leaves or watercress leaves
  • 1/2 c. (small can) water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 1 c. bean sprouts, drained
  • soy sauce to taste

Directions

    Dissolve bouillon cubes in water and simmer spinach or watercress just until tender.

    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 2 more minutes.

    Serves 5 generously.
