  • 4 fresh tuna steaks 150 to 200 g each
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

    Rinse the tuna steaks with cool water and dry with paper towels .

    Mix spices and salt and pepper.

    Place the tuna steaks in the marinade and turn to coat.

    Cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

    Meanwhile, prepare the dressing by mixing all ingredients in a bowl.

    Preheat grill for high heat.

    Lightly oil grill grate. Cook the tuna steaks for 5 to 6 minutes, then turn and baste with the marinade. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or to desired doneness.

    Serve in a plate and pour the seasonning sauce on tuna steaks.
