- 6 egg yolks
- 1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 c. lime juice (preferably Key limes)
- 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell (pastry or crumb)
- 6 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Combine egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk.

2Mix well. Add lime juice, blend well.

3Turn into pie shell.

4Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, gradually adding sugar.

5Swirl onto pie, spreading to edge of pie shell all around.

6Bake in 300° oven until meringue is pale honey-colored.
