Orzo Fruit Salad

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. orzo (Number 47) pasta
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 large can chunk pineapple
  • 2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries (no stems), drained
  • 1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip

Directions

    Cook orzo until well done.

    Rinse with cold water and drain well.

    Drain pineapple and oranges, saving juice from oranges. Mix juice from oranges with sugar, flour, salt and eggs.

    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.

    Cool and add fruit and drained pasta, mixing well.
