Ingredients
- 600 g fatter mutton
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 2 onions
- 200 g rice
- salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon saffron
Directions

1Wash meat, wipe, cut into bigger cubes, put into a deeper pan, pour lemon juice over, sprinkle with chopped onion.

2Leave to stand in a cool place for at least 1 hour.

3In the meantime pick over rice, wash and dry.

4Heat oil, add rice and cook slowly until glassy, pour in warm water in which saffon has been dissolved, add salt and pepper.

5Simmer until tender.

6Thread meat on to skewers without onion.

7Grill on medium heated gridiron.

8Turn while grilling and brush with oil, as needed.

9Put rice on a serving plate and arrange kebabs over it.

10Serve with some fresh vegetables or salad.
