- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (3 3/4 oz.) instant lemon pudding mix
- 1/4 c. ouzo
- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) box lemon cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle nuts evenly over bottom of pan.

3Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, oil and ouzo.

4Beat 3 minutes.

5Pour batter over nuts in tube pan; bake 1 hour.

6Place on rack; cool 30 minutes. Invert on serving plate.

7Prick with skewer and pour on syrup.

8Let stand at least 30 minutes.

9Serves 12.
