- 1 (55 ounce) can baked beans
- 4 slices smoked bacon
- 1 cup yellow onion
- 12 cup green bell pepper
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Open a 55 oz can of Bush's Original Baked Beans.

2Fry the bacon in a separate pan until it is medium well done.

3Wipe the strips on a paper towel to reduce the fat.

4Cut the bacon into small strips.

5Dice the onion and bell pepper.

6Combine bacon and all other ingredients in a pot (I used a Le Creuset 4-qt cast iron pot).

7Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 2-1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
