  • 2 lb. stew meat, in chunks
  • 2 c. sliced carrots
  • 3 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (24 oz.) can V-8 juice

Directions

    Mix all ingredients and place in heavy roaster with lid.

    Bake in 275° oven for 5 hours.

    Do not stir.
