- 2 cans golden mushroom soup
- 1 small jar sliced mushrooms
- 6 or 7 diced carrots
- 1 large onion, diced
- 8 potatoes, diced
- 1 pkg. frozen green peas
- 2 or 3 lb. beef stew meat, browned
- garlic powder
- salt and pepper
- basil
Directions

1Add spices to meat while browning.

2Put 1 can golden mushroom soup into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Add beef.

4Layer vegetables over beef.

5Sprinkle mushrooms over top of vegetables. Add last can of mushroom soup mixed with 1/2 cup water.

6Cover with foil and cook for 3 or 4 hours on 250°.

7(Can add layer of diced celery to vegetables, if desired.)
