Oven Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 6 qt. popped corn
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Boil brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add soda and vanilla and stir over corn.

    Mix well; spread on cookie sheet(s). Place in oven at 200° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes.

    Remove and let cool. Break apart.
